Meet the Maker

Winter Moon started with a moment Jessie didn’t expect.

It wasn’t a big turning point or a dramatic breakthrough.
It happened in the middle of a heavy day, the kind where your mind won’t quiet down no matter how tired you are. She lit a candle without thinking about it — just something to fill the silence — and then it happened.

The scent reached her before her thoughts did.
Her brain went “oh.”
And the breath that followed was different — deeper, calmer.

For one small moment, she wasn’t thinking about everything she’d lost.
She wasn’t fighting her way through the day.
She was just here, breathing, enjoying something that smelled really good.

That moment didn’t fix anything.
It didn’t erase grief.
But it gave her something she didn’t realize she’d been starving for:

relief — even if it only lasted a breath.

That quiet moment became the spark for Winter Moon.

Jessie began making candles the same way that moment arrived — not to transform people, not to make grand promises, but to create tiny pauses in the middle of real life.
Candles you light when today feels like too much — the kind that help your brain forget the heavy things for a minute, so your body can remember how to exhale.

And then the metal came.

Steel is shaped by fire too.
Heat, pressure, weight — the same elements that change a life can also create something strong. Jessie began cutting and shaping metal art as a way to hold onto meaning — not the kind we talk about, but the kind we live with.

Where candles offer a moment, metal offers a reminder.

A moment of breath…
and a symbol that keeps you grounded after the flame goes out.

The art hanging on the wall is a quiet statement:
hope survived the fire.
Not because pain disappeared, but because Jessie refused to lose herself to it.

Both pieces — wax and steel — come from the same truth:

Sometimes all we need is one breath that feels okay… and something strong to hold onto when the breath is over.

That’s what Winter Moon is built on:

Small relief, honestly given.

Meaning, honestly held.

And the belief that hope doesn’t have to be loud to be real.

If you’re here, you don’t need to explain yourself.
Life gets heavy.
You deserve a moment that helps you keep going — and a piece of art that reminds you why.

One breath at a time.
One symbol at a time.

Candle

What are your candles made of?

Our candles are made in small batches with 100% US-grown soy wax and non-toxic, phthalate-free ingredients. We keep it clean, simple, and crafted with care.

Are your candles safe for pets or people with allergies?

While no candle can be 100% guaranteed safe for every pet or person, we go the extra mile to keep things gentle. We use clean-burning soy wax, lead-free wicks, and fragrances that are free from phthalates, toxins, and other irritants. That means fewer sneezes, more cozy vibes.

Do you use phthalates or dyes?

NOPE. Sustainability is our #1 goal. That means no phthalates, no dyes, no nonsense. Just clean ingredients and intentional crafting.

Metal Art

What are your metal pieces made from?

All of our metal art is cut from 16-gauge American steel and powder coated right here in Colorado. It’s tough, beautiful, and made to last.

Do the wind spinners really spin?

Yes! (And they look incredible doing it.) Of course, movement depends on the wind, but when it hits just right, it’s pure magic.

Do you take custom orders?

You betcha! I love making custom orders. Your vision is my craft, and I’ll work with you to bring it to life.

Shipping

How long will my order take to ship?

Home fragrance ships next business day — or same day if you catch me early enough!

Metal art ships within 3 business days, since most are made to order.

Custom pieces ship up to 3 business days after you approve the design proof.
